By using the TextMyPay service ("Service"), including sending text messages to our service number or accessing textmypay.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TextMyPay is an SMS-based invoicing tool for independent tradespeople and service providers. You text a description of work performed, and our AI-powered system generates a professional invoice that can be sent to your customer via SMS.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use this Service. By using TextMyPay, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Your account is created via SMS onboarding and is tied to your phone number. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through messages sent from your phone number. Keep your phone secure and notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to use TextMyPay to:
Types of messages: By using the Service, you consent to receive SMS messages from TextMyPay including: invoice previews, invoice delivery confirmations, payment status updates, onboarding prompts, and account notifications.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your usage of the Service. Each invoice you create typically involves 2–4 messages.
Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
Opt out: You may stop receiving messages at any time by texting STOP to your TextMyPay number. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You may opt back in by texting START.

Carrier liability: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

TextMyPay uses AI to parse your text messages into structured invoices. While we strive for accuracy, you are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming invoice details before sending them to customers. TextMyPay is not liable for errors in invoice amounts, descriptions, or customer information.
TextMyPay is an invoicing tool, not a payment processor. We do not handle, process, or store payment transactions between you and your customers. Collection of payment is solely between you and your customer.
The TextMyPay name, logo, website, and service are owned by TextMyPay. You retain ownership of your business information and invoice data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your data solely to provide the Service.
TextMyPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextMyPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data arising from your use of the Service.
We strive to keep TextMyPay available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time by texting STOP.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
